No one person could write the history of American participa-

tion in activities at the Government Code and Cypher School. this
report is therefore the composite effort of members from the var-
ious blocks in Bletchley Park. The section on SIXTA was written
by Captain Jack MAGILAVY and 1st Lt. Ernest H. MORRIS; HUT Six by
Tec 3 Arthur N. LEWIS; BLOCK F by 2nd Lt George H. VERGINE; and
